The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lucjan Zdanowicz during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Los Tatangelos fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 3rd minute. Penalty! A collision led to Aesir FC FSCMZ getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Dalmo de Brito hit a great ball. Aesir FC FSCMZ's Luiz Eduardo Galvão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Donzel in the 8th minute of play. After 9 played minutes Aesir FC FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Ernesto Berger. When Los Tatangelos's Adérito Aleixo in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Aesir FC FSCMZ's goalie prevented a goal. Vural Esay lost his temper 13 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 17 played minutes Aesir FC FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Dalmo de Brito. Luiz Eduardo Galvão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Flores, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 26 minutes into the match, Los Tatangelos's goal looked a bit too open when Sydney Ramalho came free, but Yağızalp Özerkmen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute Aesir FC FSCMZ were awarded a corner. Carlos Eduardo Veiga went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Los Tatangelos's goalie and right to Manoel de Amorim. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Los Tatangelos's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Yağızalp Özerkmen made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Anselmo Fantini sent off a good shot on target. After 31 minutes of play, Aesir FC FSCMZ's Sydney Ramalho made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Yağızalp Özerkmen was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Jorge Figueiredo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luiz Eduardo Galvão was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Aesir FC FSCMZ's Anselmo Fantini got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anselmo Fantini took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yağızalp Özerkmen. Yağızalp Özerkmen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Anselmo Fantini took a quick shot and it went in 5-0 without a chance for Yağızalp Özerkmen to make any attempt to save it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sydney Ramalho made a kick off. Los Tatangelos's Yağızalp Özerkmen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anselmo Fantini in the 53rd minute of play. Yağızalp Özerkmen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anselmo Fantini in the 54th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Aesir FC FSCMZ's Carlos Eduardo Veiga got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 63rd match minute, Aesir FC FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elivélton Jacinto to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th minute, Göktürk Bozlak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Yağızalp Özerkmen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anselmo Fantini in the 70th minute of play. After 71 minutes of play, Aesir FC FSCMZ's Sydney Ramalho made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Yağızalp Özerkmen was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Los Tatangelos defense, Anselmo Fantini kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yağızalp Özerkmen. The Los Tatangelos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yağızalp Özerkmen should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anselmo Fantini in the 78th minute of play forced Los Tatangelos's goalkeeper Yağızalp Özerkmen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aesir FC FSCMZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Carlos Eduardo Veiga in the 80th minute. Jorge Figueiredo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 82 minutes, Sydney Ramalho made it 8-0 with a short kick to the right side. Los Tatangelos's Yağızalp Özerkmen tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 85th minute, Aesir FC FSCMZ's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Manuel Donzel fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Anselmo Fantini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yağızalp Özerkmen having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Mathias Varela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Aesir FC FSCMZ booed when Los Tatangelos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Waldemar Zaremba didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 94 played minutes Los Tatangelos got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Koralp Özsu.
