City Friseur Wuppertal's Xu Yi Lei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narciso Dias in the 18th minute of play. Mayhem Sharks's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Narciso Dias in the 19th minute. Ian de Castro's late challenge caught a City Friseur Wuppertal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ian de Castro helped the player get up and apologised. 24 minutes into the match, Albi Martínez notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Mayhem Sharks's Wellington de Almeida. City Friseur Wuppertal's Nebi Tokyürek was substituted for Avram Stegaru. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Horácio Tinoco kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Luís Fabiano de Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xu Yi Lei having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. City Friseur Wuppertal had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
