Myroslav Akymenko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. İbrahim Efe Vecih tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 4th minute Myroslav Akymenko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but İbrahim Efe Vecih saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Myroslav Akymenko in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg İbrahim Efe Vecih saved The Red Devils from getting behind. 12 minutes into the match, The Red Devils's goalkeeper İbrahim Efe Vecih had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mykyta Gvozdevych. Marcelo Barovero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Perivaldo Aparecido, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marek Orling scored 0-1 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcelo Barovero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marek Orling in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcelo Barovero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 39 minutes into the match, FC Ruh Lviv's goal looked a bit too open when Perivaldo Aparecido came free, but Marcelo Barovero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute Perivaldo Aparecido shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Barovero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcelo Barovero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Perivaldo Aparecido in the 46th minute of the match. FC Ruh Lviv's Marcelo Barovero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roland Nagy in the 47th minute of play. Roland Nagy's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Marcelo Barovero on his right side and into the goal. 47 minutes into the game it was 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marek Orling made a kick off. Mykyta Gvozdevych sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Marcelo Barovero managed to avoid a goal in the 65thth minute, when The Red Devils's Marek Orling fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The corner led to The Red Devils's Perivaldo Aparecido getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The referee felt a red card was in order, 76 minutes into the game, when Duda Vargas put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 75th minute of the game. One of FC Ruh Lviv:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of The Red Devils:s goal. Marcelo Barovero had in the 78thth minute some difficulties stopping Perivaldo Aparecido's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Marek Orling could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Marcelo Barovero made a huge save. Marcelo Barovero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Viktor Kállai's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Marcelo Barovero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dávid Egressy in the 93rd minute of the match. In the 96thth minute of the game Viktor Kállai who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Ruh Lviv's Marcelo Barovero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 98 minutes FC Ruh Lviv's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Géza Nagy who took care of the corner kick. When the final whistle sounded The Red Devils left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC Ruh Lviv.
