A collision led to FC Ruh Lviv getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Anatoliy Batyuk hit a great ball. 10 minutes into the match, FC Ruh Lviv's goal looked a bit too open when Garfield Sau came free, but Marcelo Barovero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Hayalim Kedoshim's Laurențiu Pora in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Marcelo Barovero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Laurențiu Pora went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Marcelo Barovero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Garfield Sau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcelo Barovero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laurențiu Pora, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in FC Ruh Lviv's zone, Laurențiu Pora stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcelo Barovero came out of the goal and Laurențiu Pora tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 37 minutes of play, Hayalim Kedoshim's Laurențiu Pora made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcelo Barovero was left in no man's land by his defense there! FC Ruh Lviv's Marcelo Barovero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laurențiu Pora in the 40th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Laurențiu Pora's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcelo Barovero was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

Mika Garons short, quick shot in the 89thth minute got Marcelo Barovero to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 91st minute Hayalim Kedoshim were awarded a corner. Tadeu Carneiro went to the cornerflag to take it. Tadeu Carneiro made a great header on Hayalim Kedoshim's corner, it was just that FC Ruh Lviv's Marcelo Barovero managed to reach the ball for a save.
