The audience thought a goal was coming when Tadeu Carneiro got free with Andreas Andersson in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 39th minute Vladimiro Lauro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andreas Andersson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yngve Åström hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Börna Bulldogs made a substitution. Vilgot Bålström replaced Ragnar Linquist. After 44 played minutes Börna Bulldogs got a freekick which was hit by Yngve Åström. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vladimiro Lauro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Laurențiu Pora managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hayalim Kedoshim's supporters rose to their feet, but Laurențiu Pora was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andreas Andersson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Börna Bulldogs's Matias Svahn was substituted for Xiao Zhen Jian. Andreas Andersson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valter Setúbal in the 73rd minute of the match. The Börna Bulldogs fans' excitement grew in the 75th match minute when Börna Bulldogs's Gong Qi Fan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Börna Bulldogs's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Laurențiu Pora was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
