After a defensive mix-up in FC Ruh Lviv's zone, Maarten Mur stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andriy Trubin came out of the goal and Maarten Mur tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Andriy Trubin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nils-Åke Hedvall, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 12 played minutes FC Ruh Lviv got a freekick which was hit by Orest Maklakov. Mockfjärd's Pablo Campodónico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Myroslav Akymenko in the 14th minute of play. Andriy Trubin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Andriy Trubin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maarten Mur in the 38th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Myroslav Akymenko made the kick off in the second half. Nils-Åke Hedvall kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Andriy Trubin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nils-Åke Hedvall in the 57th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Myroslav Akymenko in the 58th minute of play forced Mockfjärd's goalkeeper Pablo Campodónico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute, Maarten Mur fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Maarten Mur managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mockfjärd's supporters rose to their feet, but Maarten Mur was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andriy Trubin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Maarten Mur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 79 minutes Mockfjärd's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Vyacheslav Androsenko who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Vyacheslav Androsenko got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Pablo Campodónico quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Bo Ekström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 87 minutes into the match, FC Ruh Lviv's goalkeeper Andriy Trubin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maarten Mur. The supporters of Mockfjärd booed when FC Ruh Lviv was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Illja Klochko didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 91 minutes of play, Mockfjärd's Bo Ekström made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Andriy Trubin was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Mockfjärd supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Mockfjärd would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
