Ludwig Apelqvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Batuhan Bilgin's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. The audience was convinced that Gilbert Harendarski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ludwig Apelqvist was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. A hard shot 13 in the game by Erland Arhenius from a close distance when the talented Ünal Akbel managed to make a qualified save. AtletikEdirne's players were relieved. After 17 minutes, Gilbert Harendarski made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. FC FERNET BOYS's Ludwig Apelqvist tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 27 played minutes AtletikEdirne got a freekick which was hit by Bora Han Öğün. After 28 played minutes FC FERNET BOYS got a freekick which was hit by Vivaldo Brasil. In the 30th match minute, AtletikEdirne was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ufuk Mutluer to maneuver through the defense. If Batuhan Bilgin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vivaldo Brasil kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 43rd minute, Bora Han Öğün left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AtletikEdirne fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. AtletikEdirne's Ünal Akbel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrej Ďuriš in the 46th minute of play. 48 minutes into the match, Batuhan Bilgin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ludwig Apelqvist. FC FERNET BOYS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Batuhan Bilgin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. After the first half AtletikEdirne were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Andrej Ďuriš was the one to do the kick off.
