Bata Di Cola was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 4 minutes into the match. Bata Di Cola hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. ΠΑΟΚ FC's Björn Kamp got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 8 minutes, Santiago Silva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ΠΑΟΚ FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Santiago Silva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santiago Silva in the 14th minute of play forced EB Specjal Gdansk's goalkeeper Wincenty Sikola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ΠΑΟΚ FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Björn Kamp in the 15th minute. ΠΑΟΚ FC's Björn Kamp was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Wincenty Sikola in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. EB Specjal Gdansk's Wincenty Sikola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santiago Silva in the 16th minute of play. After some careless play in the EB Specjal Gdansk defense, Edmondo Del Monte kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wincenty Sikola. The EB Specjal Gdansk fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wincenty Sikola should have stopped the shot. When ΠΑΟΚ FC's Santiago Silva in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. ΠΑΟΚ FC were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after EB Specjal Gdansk's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Björn Kamp took the corner. After taking down the ball on ΠΑΟΚ FC's corner Björn Kamp fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Wincenty Sikola quite easily take care of the ball. Ingvar Nykvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karol Ruszkowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78th minute Zheng Yang Zhen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wincenty Sikola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th minute of the match ΠΑΟΚ FC got a corner. EB Specjal Gdansk's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Björn Kamp ran over to the corner to take the kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Santiago Silva got free with Wincenty Sikola in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Santiago Silva's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wincenty Sikola read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Ingvar Nykvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karol Ruszkowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched ΠΑΟΚ FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
