They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

La France FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marco Queiroz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-8. 93 minutes into the game, Luis Vázquez lined in a short shot 1-9 behind a frustrated Álvaro Gerber. La France FC played a much better game than Galileia FC and deserved their victory. The Galileia FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
