The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cercadinho's Mugurel Zota played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ross Strong in the 12th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Rafaela FC's zone, William de Castro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Inocencio Veronica came out of the goal and William de Castro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Inocencio Veronica showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valiente Venezian in the 16th minute of the match. Octavio Gonzo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Mugurel Zota firmly grabbed it by the left post. 35 minutes into the match, Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mugurel Zota, 1-0. 41 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cercadinho's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nico Veit was slow to take the kick. During this time Rafaela FC's players had a chance to rest. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio got free with Mugurel Zota in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Rafaela FC getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Ross Strong hit a great ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio to strike the kick off in the second half. Cercadinho's Mugurel Zota played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio in the 53rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emiliano Furia in the 56th minute of play forced Cercadinho's goalkeeper Mugurel Zota to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 67 minutes into the match, Rafaela FC's goal looked a bit too open when Valiente Venezian came free, but Inocencio Veronica reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mugurel Zota showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ross Strong, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Inocencio Veronica stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valiente Venezian's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. Luisinho Vinhas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Inocencio Veronica came out and tried to block the shot, but Luisinho Vinhas slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 71st minute. Cercadinho's Jailson Mazza was substituted for Luisinho Vinhas. 76 minutes into the match, Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mugurel Zota. Cercadinho's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. In the 84th minute Octavio Gonzo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mugurel Zota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There was no doubt that Rafaela FC were the better team. Rafaela FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
