Olle Casillas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ross Strong in the 21st minute of the match. If Atilio De la Cuadra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fulvio Vittorio in the 33rd minute of play forced Rafaela FC's goalkeeper Inocencio Veronica to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fulvio Vittorio ran back to his position shaking his head. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fulvio Vittorio made a kick off. Thanks to some nice moves Octavio Gonzo could shoot a difficult shot in the 53rd minute, which Olle Casillas however easily saved by the left post. La France FC's Edgard Davids managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Esteve Iliana in the 54 minute of the game. In the 55th match minute, Rafaela FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Suhendar to maneuver through the defense. Atilio De la Cuadra struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Inocencio Veronica didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La France FC. In the 61st minute, Fulvio Vittorio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Inocencio Veronica was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. If Fulvio Vittorio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rafaela FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
