Jeremias Preuss could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Yuri Loureiro made a huge save. 9 minutes into the game, Atlético Minuano's Nicolas Romero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rony Zanette made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. With a little luck, Atlético Minuano's Yuri Loureiro got control of the ball when Tage Backlund tried to sneak it across the goal line. Manoel Couto hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Atlético Minuano's Yuri Loureiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Atlético Minuano from getting a goal against them. Alfredinho Aparecido might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rony Zanette. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfredinho Aparecido ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolas Romero in the 18th minute of play forced Xiboquinha FC's goalkeeper Rony Zanette to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Atlético Minuano were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after Xiboquinha FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nicolas Romero took the corner. After taking down the ball on Atlético Minuano's corner Nicolas Romero fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rony Zanette quite easily take care of the ball. In the 21st minute Nicolas Romero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rony Zanette saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rony Zanette made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas Romero in the 25th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Atlético Minuano's goalkeeper Yuri Loureiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Manoel Couto. Rony Zanette came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Atlético Minuano's Nicolas Romero. But to his dismay, Nicolas Romero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After a rather tough play, Xiboquinha FC's Kléberson Sanches got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Rony Zanette showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dominik Piglowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After a rather tough play, Atlético Minuano's Teobaldo Turi got a free kick in the 37th minute. After 41 played minutes Atlético Minuano got a freekick which was hit by Dominik Piglowski. Yuri Loureiro made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Jeremias Preuss sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Atlético Minuano's Yuri Loureiro got control of the ball when Jeremias Preuss tried to sneak it across the goal line. 48 minutes into the game, Xiboquinha FC's Jeremias Preuss nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Yuri Loureiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nicolas Romero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Yuri Loureiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tage Backlund in the 60th minute of play. Dominik Piglowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Xiboquinha FC's Rony Zanette played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dominik Piglowski in the 65th minute of play. Alfredinho Aparecido might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rony Zanette. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfredinho Aparecido ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 74th minute of the match, Nicolas Romero got a very nice opportunity to score, but Rony Zanette was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With a little luck, Xiboquinha FC's Rony Zanette got control of the ball when Nicolas Romero tried to sneak it across the goal line. Atlético Minuano made a substitution. Mathias Ortiz replaced Alfredinho Aparecido. Atlético Minuano were awarded a corner in the 82th minute after Xiboquinha FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nicolas Romero took the corner. Yuri Loureiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alessandro Pereira in the 87th minute of the match. In the 89th match minute, Atlético Minuano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mathias Ortiz to maneuver through the defense. Marcel Reis hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match.
