With a little luck, Tunge Titans's Willy Herzog got control of the ball when Eliseo Sol tried to sneak it across the goal line. 12 minutes into the game, El fortinero's Nicanor Micael nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Willy Herzog made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Tunge Titans's attentive Werner van Dam managed to snatch the ball when Jairo Liberto made a throw-in in the 18th minute of the game. In the 18th minute Stellan Lund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Cedro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute, El fortinero's Nicanor Micael ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Willy Herzog. Willy Herzog yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. In the 23rdth minute of the game Henry Dalström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El fortinero's Ivan Cedro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When El fortinero's Eulalio Martxot in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tunge Titans's goalie prevented a goal. Jairo Liberto charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jairo Liberto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Henry Dalström scored 2-1 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ivan Cedro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Willy Herzog made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eulalio Martxot in the 44th minute of play. After 46 played minutes Tunge Titans got a freekick which was hit by Khamzat Chimaev. Jairo Liberto kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nicanor Micael to make the kick off. Jairo Liberto was shown his second yellow card after 53 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stellan Lund got free with Ivan Cedro in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Henry Dalström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Cedro having to interfere. The supporters of Tunge Titans booed when El fortinero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eulalio Martxot didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 68 played minutes El fortinero got a freekick which was hit by Eulalio Martxot. Henry Dalström took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ivan Cedro. Ivan Cedro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. After 72 minutes, Eulalio Martxot mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El fortinero and the Tunge Titans players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eulalio Martxot hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Tunge Titans made a substitution. Richard Olofsson replaced Stellan Lund. After a rather tough play, El fortinero's Eulalio Martxot got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 75th minute, Tunge Titans's Henry Dalström ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ivan Cedro. Ivan Cedro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. If Henry Dalström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 78th minute Henry Dalström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Cedro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ivan Cedro made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Richard Olofsson sent off a good shot on target. In the 90th minute Tunge Titans were awarded a corner. Robin Palmquist went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Tunge Titans's Robin Palmquist to fire away a dangerous shot which Ivan Cedro despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in El fortinero's zone, Henry Dalström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivan Cedro came out of the goal and Henry Dalström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ivan Cedro made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Richard Olofsson sent off a good shot on target. Chants of Tunge Titans echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as El fortinero had held the ball for most of the match.
