Ivan Cedro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johannes Kruuse in the 8th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the match, S.C. Corinthians Paulista's Johannes Kruuse sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ivan Cedro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Johannes Kruuse blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ivan Cedro having to make a save. El fortinero's Ivan Cedro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johannes Kruuse in the 11th minute of play. Johannes Kruuse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Cedro having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in El fortinero fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 14th minute. Penalty! El fortinero's Ivan Cedro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johannes Kruuse in the 17th minute of play. If Johannes Kruuse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 24th minute, Johannes Kruuse ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ivan Cedro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Johannes Kruuse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ciro da Silveira was slow to take the kick. During this time S.C. Corinthians Paulista's players had a chance to rest. S.C. Corinthians Paulista's Ciro da Silveira was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ivan Cedro in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Johannes Kruuse took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ivan Cedro. Ivan Cedro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Augusto Justin during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ivan Cedro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Johannes Kruuse recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, S.C. Corinthians Paulista's Llorian Bullon got a free kick in the 70th minute. Ivan Cedro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evandro Trancoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. El fortinero's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Ciro da Silveira 74 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-5. S.C. Corinthians Paulista's Evandro Trancoso got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
