Jairo Liberto made a great header on El fortinero's corner, it was just that ₳Ⱡ₳ł̇ɎɆ ₣₵'s Jacob Belém managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 15th minute Eliseo Sol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacob Belém saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joost Roeland during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 18 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. In the 28thth minute of the game Dobromir Nakoneczny who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El fortinero's Ivan Cedro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dobromir Nakoneczny did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-2 to the left of a surprised Ivan Cedro 33 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute, Baycan Pektürk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jacob Belém took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseo Sol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute, Joost Roeland hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dobromir Nakoneczny was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the El fortinero defense, Dobromir Nakoneczny kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ivan Cedro. The El fortinero fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ivan Cedro should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in El fortinero's zone, Atak Yaren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivan Cedro came out of the goal and Atak Yaren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Atak Yaren struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Ivan Cedro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ₳Ⱡ₳ł̇ɎɆ ₣₵. Dobromir Nakoneczny blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ivan Cedro having to make a save. Ivan Cedro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dobromir Nakoneczny in the 65th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dobromir Nakoneczny in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ivan Cedro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Dobromir Nakoneczny had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd match minute, El fortinero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cornelio Ciano to maneuver through the defense. It was a penalty for ₳Ⱡ₳ł̇ɎɆ ₣₵! 98 minutes into the match, Jairo Liberto notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of ₳Ⱡ₳ł̇ɎɆ ₣₵'s Jacob Belém. Jacob Belém was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. El fortinero's Teodoro Chano was substituted for Eulalio Martxot. The ₳Ⱡ₳ł̇ɎɆ ₣₵ fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. El fortinero were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
