In the 3rd minute Fausto Mannella shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlisle Schultz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ernesto Molinaro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ingemar Kilman in the 4th minute. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Ingemar Kilman put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ernesto Molinaro. 16 minutes into the game, Ingemar Kilman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Ernesto Molinaro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Ingemar Kilman took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Ernesto Molinaro to make any attempt to save it. Pierre Hopgood kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. After having played for 28 minutes, Osvaldo Furlan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fluminense DF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Osvaldo Furlan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 29 minutes of play, Fluminense DF's Ingemar Kilman made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ernesto Molinaro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ingemar Kilman didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 7-0 via right post in the game's 38th minute. Fluminense DF's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Fabiano Dionisi hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingemar Kilman in the 42nd minute of play forced Phenomena's goalkeeper Ernesto Molinaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 43 minutes into the match, Fluminense DF's Ingemar Kilman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ernesto Molinaro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 8-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ingemar Kilman to strike the kick off in the second half. Fluminense DF's Luiz Trigo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Fabiano Dionisi in the 54 minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Fluminense DF's Pedrinho Seedorf got a free kick in the 58th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fausto Mannella in the 60th minute of play forced Fluminense DF's goalkeeper Carlisle Schultz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Phenomena's Ernesto Molinaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ingemar Kilman in the 68th minute of play. Carlisle Schultz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fausto Mannella, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 71st minute, Ingemar Kilman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fluminense DF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. After 75 played minutes Fluminense DF got a freekick which was hit by Pedrinho Seedorf. Prudencio Goiz took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ernesto Molinaro. Ernesto Molinaro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. Prudencio Goiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 85th minute, Prudencio Goiz made a precise shot to the right of Ernesto Molinaro. Phenomena's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 11-0. In the 88th minute, Prudencio Goiz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ernesto Molinaro was frozen by the shot and now it was 12-0. 92 minutes into the game, Fluminense DF's Prudencio Goiz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ernesto Molinaro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 13-0. After 95 minutes, Fabiano Dionisi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Phenomena and the Fluminense DF players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 95th match minute, Phenomena was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabiano Dionisi to maneuver through the defense. Prudencio Goiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fluminense DF's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
