Patrick Galvão received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ramiro Gabrio came out and tried to block the shot, but Patrick Galvão slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 17th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dan Rowell got free with Ramiro Gabrio in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 40th minute, Silverio Lluterio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La Candela FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind West Staines Massive's goalkeeper Calvin Kuckhoff, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A throw-in in the 46th minute of the game was made by Erling Finnman with Jonny Clayton as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

West Staines Massive's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guaberto Bitxintxo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4.
