The audience was convinced that Lisandro Cordareo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mathias Sabóia was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Lisandro Cordareo put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Mathias Sabóia. Mathias Sabóia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lisandro Cordareo in the 10th minute of the match. Twierdza Wroclaw's Tony Kroneder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reinaldo Dante in the 12th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Twierdza Wroclaw's Stefan Lesiecki dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. When Duarte Barral fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Boca Juniors's protests and gave Duarte Barral a yellow card for diving instead. Mathias Sabóia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lisandro Cordareo in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 25th match minute, Boca Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caio Pinheiro to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Boca Juniors getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Elano Guerra hit a great ball. In the 27th minute, Stefan Lesiecki ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mathias Sabóia was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Mathias Sabóia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stefan Lesiecki in the 36th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the game, Twierdza Wroclaw's Stefan Lesiecki nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mathias Sabóia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lisandro Cordareo in the 42nd minute of play forced Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Mathias Sabóia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Mathias Sabóia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefan Lesiecki in the 51st minute of play. Mathias Sabóia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lisandro Cordareo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 56th minute of the game, Ademir Donatello landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Ronaldo Marques kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Mathias Sabóia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lisandro Cordareo in the 58th minute of the match. Mathias Sabóia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Fernando Quinteros in the 59th minute of play. Twierdza Wroclaw's Tony Kroneder proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Twierdza Wroclaw from getting a goal against them. Lisandro Cordareo took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mathias Sabóia. Mathias Sabóia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Mathias Sabóia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stefan Lesiecki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 74 minutes into the game, Stefan Lesiecki cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Mathias Sabóia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Reinaldo Dantes short, quick shot in the 77thth minute got Tony Kroneder to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 80 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Stefan Lesiecki came free, but Mathias Sabóia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute Stefan Lesiecki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mathias Sabóia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Twierdza Wroclaw's Matias Gilesindo was substituted for Karl-Michael Ersman. Twierdza Wroclaw's Maksymilian Solibieda was substituted for Stefan Lesiecki. In the 87th match minute, Twierdza Wroclaw was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julian Bugajski to maneuver through the defense. In the 88th minute Maksymilian Solibieda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mathias Sabóia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Twierdza Wroclaw's Juan Fernando Quinteros got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 94th minute Maksymilian Solibieda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mathias Sabóia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maksymilian Solibieda in the 95th minute of play forced Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Mathias Sabóia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
