Reinaldo Dante scored 0-1 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tobias Mino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Virgilio Romildo during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Boca Juniors booed when Albiceleste F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgilio Romildo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Frank França struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Tobias Mino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boca Juniors. Ronaldo Marques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Flávio Paraibano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boca Juniors's supporters rose to their feet, but Flávio Paraibano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tobias Mino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Boca Juniors's Emerson Veiga got a free kick in the 30th minute. The long shot by Blas Telo in the 31st minute really tested Mathias Sabóia's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 36th minute Reinaldo Dante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobias Mino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frank França hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Ronaldo Marques hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. 45 minutes into the match, Albiceleste F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Reinaldo Dante came free, but Tobias Mino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Albiceleste F.C. getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Higinio Fix hit a great ball. The Albiceleste F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Boca Juniors were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Virgilio Romildo to make the kick off. When Frank França fell near the penalty area in the 50th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Boca Juniors's protests and gave Frank França a yellow card for diving instead. Frank França hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. The throw-in from Blas Telo in the 56th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Boca Juniors's Ronaldo Marques. Fernandinho Santos hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Frank França could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Tobias Mino made a huge save. Frank França recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Boca Juniors's Reinaldo Dante got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Marco Artal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Caio Pinheiro kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. 82 minutes into the match, Reinaldo Dante had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tobias Mino. Albiceleste F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Reinaldo Dante was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. A sloppy throw-in by Blas Telo in the 87th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Boca Juniors's Elano Guerra. Tobias Mino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reinaldo Dante, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Albiceleste F.C.'s goalkeeper Tobias Mino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Flávio Paraibano. If Frank França had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 94 minutes, Frank França made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Albiceleste F.C.'s Tobias Mino tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The Boca Juniors players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
