Carlos Eduardo Ramos came out of the goal and Stig-Ove Abrahamsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With his leg Ismael Negri managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when Buenaventura FC's Jairo de Azevedo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A hard shot 20 in the game by Jairo de Azevedo from a close distance when the talented Ismael Negri managed to make a qualified save. Plan B's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walter Bock in the 23rd minute of play forced Plan B's goalkeeper Ismael Negri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27thth minute of the game Stig-Ove Abrahamsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Buenaventura FC's Carlos Eduardo Ramos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 30th minute of the match, André-Pierre Gignac tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ismael Negri saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 32 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Plan B! When the match had been going on for 34 minutes, Buenaventura FC's Christian Castillo got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ismael Negri. In the 37th match minute, Buenaventura FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kurt Angel to maneuver through the defense. Ismael Negri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Walter Bock, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walter Bock in the 42nd minute of play forced Plan B's goalkeeper Ismael Negri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute, Jairo de Azevedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

A collision led to Plan B getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Weldon Myrick hit a great ball. In the 67th minute, Walter Bock got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ismael Negri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Walter Bock, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rd minute, Jairo de Azevedo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Buenaventura FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Ismael Negri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jairo de Azevedo in the 77th minute of play. In the 78th minute Buenaventura FC were awarded a corner. Christian Castillo went to the cornerflag to take it. Ismael Negri stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jairo de Azevedo's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Ismael Negri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jairo de Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Ismael Negri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André-Pierre Gignac in the 82nd minute of the match. 3-0 became the score in the 83rd minute when Walter Bock elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Ernst Rolf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Walter Bock in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ismael Negri saved Plan B from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Buenaventura FC had won after a very even match.
