The audience was convinced that Charro Moreno's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Valdir Pérez was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. Gabriel Balendin scored 0-1 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Valdir Pérez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 12th minute, Charro Moreno ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Valdir Pérez was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After 15 minutes, Luis Pereira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the União Verde FC and the Kikemania FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 15th match minute, União Verde FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Pereira to maneuver through the defense. Placido Min, 16 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When Gabriel Balendin came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Kikemania FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gabriel Balendin couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Gabriel Balendin put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Valdir Pérez. The supporters of União Verde FC booed when Kikemania FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ladislao Raebert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gaudencio Juvenal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rui Lara in the 29th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ademir Guia in the 33rd minute of play forced Kikemania FC's goalkeeper Gaudencio Juvenal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ademir Guia took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gaudencio Juvenal. Gaudencio Juvenal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. In the 37thth minute of the game Charro Moreno who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but União Verde FC's Valdir Pérez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gaudencio Juvenal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdomiro Paraibano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Kikemania FC's Gabriel Balendin in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye União Verde FC's goalie prevented a goal. Kikemania FC were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after União Verde FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Placido Min took the corner. Valdir Pérez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charro Moreno in the 43rd minute of the match. Gabriel Balendin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the União Verde FC defense, Charro Moreno kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Valdir Pérez. The União Verde FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valdir Pérez should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Valdomiro Paraibano made a kick off. In the 51st minute of the match, Charro Moreno tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Valdir Pérez saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Kikemania FC's Charro Moreno in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye União Verde FC's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valdomiro Paraibano in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gaudencio Juvenal saved Kikemania FC from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Charro Moreno in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Valdir Pérez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Kikemania FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Nestor Vellito hit a great ball. Gaudencio Juvenal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdomiro Paraibano in the 63rd minute of play. Valdir Pérez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charro Moreno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Kikemania FC booed when União Verde FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vladimir Motta didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 70th minute of the match Gil Paiva shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gaudencio Juvenal showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Vladimir Motta charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vladimir Motta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Kikemania FC booed when União Verde FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vladimir Motta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jorge Mendonça hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in União Verde FC's zone, Charro Moreno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valdir Pérez came out of the goal and Charro Moreno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Valdir Pérez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charro Moreno in the 74th minute of the match. Gaudencio Juvenal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Mendonça, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kikemania FC were furious when Silvio Eutropio was red carded, 77 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The crowd rose to their feet as Charro Moreno kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Valdir Pérez. That made the score 1-6 in the 80 minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Kikemania FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Mendonça came free, but Gaudencio Juvenal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84thth minute of the game Jorge Mendonça who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kikemania FC's Gaudencio Juvenal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Valdir Pérez was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Charro Moreno showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-7 in the 86 minute of play. If Valdomiro Paraibano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Charro Moreno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Valdir Pérez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, União Verde FC's Benjamim Saldanha got a free kick in the 97th minute. The União Verde FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Kikemania FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Kikemania FC.
