The audience thought a goal was coming when Gösta Söderberg got free with Adam Biörnberg in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Frans Mossberg kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Adam Biörnberg. That made the score 4-0 in the 42 minute of play. A collision led to Dalens Darlings getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Urbano Mas hit a great ball. Dalens Darlings's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Francesco Totti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adam Biörnberg having to interfere. Francesco Totti, 97 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Dalens Darlings's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
