Tonton Eren showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Ekipa Damcia's Jedrzej Majorski got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Giancarlo Donnarumma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wojtek Sokol in the 46th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sérgio Jacinto was the one to do the kick off. One of Ekipa Damcia:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ajax:s goal. 61 minutes into the match, Ekipa Damcia's goal looked a bit too open when Tonton Eren came free, but Giancarlo Donnarumma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ekipa Damcia's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
