Spectators: 157 (Terracing: 118, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when John-Arne Riise got the match started through his kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andrei Alexandrescu got free with Dirch Glerum in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A nice corner shot did that Aureliusz Kon got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dirch Glerum quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. FC Acatar's Diamantino Lobo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by John-Arne Riise in the 5th minute of play. 9 minutes into the game, Tiago Silva threw the ball into play from the sideline. FC Acatar's Fred Tutorskiy quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Andrei Alexandrescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Dirch Glerum tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ştefan Grama during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 16 minutes into the game, one of FC Acatar:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 18th minute there was a penalty for Hønning. Laurids Hvenekilde stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Diamantino Lobo. 0-1. After 20 played minutes Hønning got a freekick which was hit by Betinho Beton. 22 minutes in the game Betinho Beton did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Per Nørbjerg. 27 minutes into the game, Andrei Alexandrescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Dirch Glerum was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dirch Glerum made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Andrei Alexandrescu sent off a good shot on target. Betinho Beton hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. A collision led to FC Acatar getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Fred Tutorskiy hit a great ball. Dirch Glerum took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrei Alexandrescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute, Per Nørbjerg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Andrei Alexandrescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Andrei Alexandrescu to strike the kick off in the second half. Aureliusz Kon made a great header on FC Acatar's corner, it was just that Hønning's Dirch Glerum managed to reach the ball for a save. Andrei Alexandrescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Dirch Glerum tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 56th minute, Andrei Alexandrescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Acatar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Andrei Alexandrescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Dirch Glerum tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th minute Andrei Alexandrescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dirch Glerum saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When FC Acatar's Andrei Alexandrescu in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hønning's goalie prevented a goal. When John-Arne Riise came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Hønning fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that John-Arne Riise couldn't finish the play. Andrei Alexandrescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 75th minute, Tiago Silva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Andrei Alexandrescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dirch Glerum made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrei Alexandrescu in the 80th minute of play. Dirch Glerum didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Andrei Alexandrescu went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. If Andrei Alexandrescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andrei Alexandrescu scored 4-1 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dirch Glerum, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 93rd minute Andrei Alexandrescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dirch Glerum saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Hønning getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Per Nørbjerg hit a great ball. Hønning's Dirch Glerum played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrei Alexandrescu in the 95th minute of play. Hønning's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
