The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, TLAMET Y TLASAK 100PRE's Cosme Piorno got control of the ball when Wu Li Zhi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cosme Piorno made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Eric Târban sent off a good shot on target. 8 minutes into the match, TLAMET Y TLASAK 100PRE's goal looked a bit too open when Niki Lauda came free, but Cosme Piorno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wu Li Zhi got free with Cosme Piorno in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Giovanni Lenhardt lost his temper 11 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 11th minute, one of RIVER:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for RIVER. Marcial Lordi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Everardo Benino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the match, RIVER's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Montrel came free, but Marcial Lordi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cosme Piorno made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eric Târban in the 20th minute. Marcial Lordi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Everardo Benino in the 25th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 26 minutes, Cosme Piorno successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Oxarra in the 28th minute of play forced TLAMET Y TLASAK 100PRE's goalkeeper Cosme Piorno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cosme Piorno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Oxarra, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. The crowd rose to their feet as RIVER's Bruno Oxarra slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cosme Piorno. That made the score 1-1 after 31 minutes of play. Cosme Piorno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Rudolfo in the 34th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, TLAMET Y TLASAK 100PRE's goalkeeper Cosme Piorno had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eric Târban. Feliciano Laffitte hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. RIVER's Domingo Remigio was substituted for Bruno Oxarra. A collision led to TLAMET Y TLASAK 100PRE getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Feliciano Laffitte hit a great ball. In the 38th minute, Eric Târban reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cosme Piorno. The goal made the score 2-1. Niki Lauda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Everardo Benino to make the kick off. Marcial Lordi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rigoberto Cordeal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vinicio Porfiro kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Niki Lauda took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cosme Piorno. Cosme Piorno dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. RIVER's Pipo Benedetto was substituted for Wu Li Zhi. 62 minutes into the match, Eric Târban notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of TLAMET Y TLASAK 100PRE's Cosme Piorno. Cosme Piorno was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cosme Piorno came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by RIVER's Eric Târban. But to his dismay, Eric Târban quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. RIVER made a substitution. Tobias Belmiro replaced Rosendo Osorio. In the 78th minute, Niki Lauda made a precise shot to the right of Cosme Piorno. TLAMET Y TLASAK 100PRE's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. If Niki Lauda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cosme Piorno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niki Lauda, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delmiro Estebano in the 86th minute of play forced RIVER's goalkeeper Marcial Lordi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Niki Lauda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. TLAMET Y TLASAK 100PRE's Cosme Piorno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niki Lauda in the 91st minute of play. In the 92nd match minute, RIVER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niki Lauda to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Niki Lauda's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cosme Piorno was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. RIVER fully deserved thier win.
