Marcial Roldanillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dinei Pinheiro having to interfere. The supporters of Pincha FC booed when SeleSantos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Montenegro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dinei Pinheiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcial Roldanillo in the 14th minute of play. Dinei Pinheiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcial Roldanillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. When Victorio Hondo fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pincha FC's protests and gave Victorio Hondo a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of SeleSantos FC booed when Pincha FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victorio Hondo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20th match minute, SeleSantos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Pedro Ortiz to maneuver through the defense. When Sergio Macerio came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Pincha FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sergio Macerio couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Marcial Roldanillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dinei Pinheiro was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. After 25 minutes SeleSantos FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sergio Macerio who took care of the corner kick. Marcial Roldanillo took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dinei Pinheiro. Dinei Pinheiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind SeleSantos FC's goalkeeper Dinei Pinheiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 32nd minute Pincha FC were awarded a corner. Sergio Macerio went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Pincha FC's corner Sergio Macerio fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dinei Pinheiro quite easily take care of the ball. Victorio Hondo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Dinei Pinheiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victorio Hondo hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Leif Törnqvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carlos Quentin was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. Dinei Pinheiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcial Roldanillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The wind increased when Niilo Mikkola made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacobo Casado in the 52nd minute of play forced Pincha FC's goalkeeper Carlos Quentin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Quentin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niilo Mikkola, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in SeleSantos FC's zone, Marcial Roldanillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dinei Pinheiro came out of the goal and Marcial Roldanillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 56 minutes into the game, Agustin Silvino recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dinei Pinheiro. Agustin Silvino showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Marcial Roldanillo in the 59thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dinei Pinheiro, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 64th minute, Jacobo Casado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dinei Pinheiro came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Pincha FC's Victorio Hondo. But to his dismay, Victorio Hondo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. SeleSantos FC's Dinei Pinheiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save SeleSantos FC from getting a goal against them. When Pincha FC's Agustin Silvino in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SeleSantos FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 75th minute, Victorio Hondo made a precise shot to the right of Dinei Pinheiro. SeleSantos FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Pincha FC's German Merexildo was substituted for Agustin Silvino. Pincha FC's Darren McDonald was substituted for Victorio Hondo. 82 minutes into the match, Pincha FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jacobo Casado came free, but Carlos Quentin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Quentin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacobo Casado, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Niilo Mikkola recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aílton Seco kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Sergio Macerio's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Dinei Pinheiro - 0-5 was put on the score board in the 88th minute. In the 90th match minute, SeleSantos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacobo Casado to maneuver through the defense. Marcial Roldanillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. João Pedro Ortiz's late challenge caught a Pincha FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. João Pedro Ortiz helped the player get up and apologised. Dinei Pinheiro made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Sergio Macerio sent off a good shot on target. The SeleSantos FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Pincha FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Pincha FC.
