An unexpectedly hard shot by Franz Midgley in the 10th minute of play forced Borussia Dortmund's goalkeeper Yao Zhan Sang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Fernando Grover's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luke Bush was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. 14 minutes had been played when some careless play by T H F C's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Yakup Sargut was slow to take the kick. During this time Borussia Dortmund's players had a chance to rest. Borussia Dortmund's Yakup Sargut was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Luke Bush in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The Borussia Dortmund fans' excitement grew in the 15th match minute when Borussia Dortmund's Fernando Grover looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 18th minute Fernando Grover shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luke Bush saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Borussia Dortmund's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Yakup Sargut in the 19th minute. Yakup Sargut made a great header on Borussia Dortmund's corner, it was just that T H F C's Luke Bush managed to reach the ball for a save. 21 minutes into the match, T H F C's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Levander came free, but Luke Bush reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Fernando Grover made a precise shot to the right of Luke Bush. T H F C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Yao Zhan Sang made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Franz Midgley sent off a good shot on target. 30 minutes into the match, T H F C's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Levander came free, but Luke Bush reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luke Bush stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Baltazar Clavijo's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. 42 minutes into the match, Borussia Dortmund's goalkeeper Yao Zhan Sang had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jeffrey Inman. Luke Bush came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Borussia Dortmund's Fernando Grover. But to his dismay, Fernando Grover quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fernando Grover stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Baltazar Clavijo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 50th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 52nd minute Tuan Lovell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luke Bush saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luke Bush showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Levander in the 54th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Borussia Dortmund defense, Franz Midgley kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yao Zhan Sang. The Borussia Dortmund fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yao Zhan Sang should have stopped the shot. Luke Bush showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Grover in the 64th minute of the match. In the 66thth minute of the game Baltazar Clavijo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but T H F C's Luke Bush was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Donny Beckwith struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Yao Zhan Sang didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for T H F C. Yao Zhan Sang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeffrey Inman in the 71st minute of the match. T H F C made a substitution. Samuel Shakespeare replaced Franz Midgley. Samuel Shakespeare hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. In the 76th minute Fernando Grover shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luke Bush saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yao Zhan Sang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronan Sugden in the 79th minute of the match. Borussia Dortmund made a substitution. Emesto Llames replaced Tuan Lovell. T H F C were awarded a corner in the 82th minute after Borussia Dortmund's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Gillow took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Borussia Dortmund's goalie and right to Shawn Coulson. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Borussia Dortmund's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Tomas Levander scored 1-5 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luke Bush, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dave Hartley hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 89th match minute, T H F C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dave Hartley to maneuver through the defense. 95 minutes had been played when some careless play by T H F C's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Yakup Sargut was slow to take the kick. During this time Borussia Dortmund's players had a chance to rest. The T H F C manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Borussia Dortmund to win.
