The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Barnabé Amice's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Niclas Andersson was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. Zülfü Dicle hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Marcelinho Motta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Birkan Yağın tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 28 played minutes ÇALIMLI got a freekick which was hit by Enginalp İnanoğlu. In the 30th match minute, ÇALIMLI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Augusto Torres to maneuver through the defense. Olof Rosendahl hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Refik Halit Kutuner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niclas Andersson having to interfere. When Marcelinho Motta in the 39th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Birkan Yağın kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 3-0 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Carlos Augusto Torres kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Barnabé Amice made the kick off in the second half. Vecdet Sarıcabay hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Battal Seyyit Şehzade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Birkan Yağın made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bozkurt Orkun in the 57th minute of play. 60 minutes into the game, Stoke FF's Marcelinho Motta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Birkan Yağın made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. After a rather tough play, ÇALIMLI's Vecdet Sarıcabay got a free kick in the 64th minute. Birkan Yağın took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelinho Motta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Niclas Andersson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barnabé Amice in the 70th minute of play. After taking down the ball on ÇALIMLI's corner Barnabé Amice fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Niclas Andersson quite easily take care of the ball. The supporters of Stoke FF booed when ÇALIMLI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enginalp İnanoğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th minute, Pontus Granlund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dan Ekerot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Birkan Yağın tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Birkan Yağın showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelinho Motta, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcelinho Motta in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Birkan Yağın prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Stoke FF were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
