Ivan Ríos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Holger Siöbergs short, quick shot in the 16thth minute got Ivan Ríos to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 20th minute, Pinhote FC's Holger Siöberg dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Guo Ming succeeded in the game's 24th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-0. Pinhote FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Loco Martin in the 28th minute. Ivan Ríos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guo Ming in the 29th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 9-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rafael Tello to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Guo Ming ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ivan Ríos was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-0. The audience was convinced that Guo Ming's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ivan Ríos was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Holger Siöberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 58th minute Sílvio Luís Ceresso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Ríos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Holger Siöberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Holger Siöberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ivan Ríos was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. Carta Vieja F.C.'s Ivan Ríos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guo Ming in the 68th minute of play. In the 71st match minute, Carta Vieja F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduardo Amaya to maneuver through the defense. In the 72nd minute of the match Loco Martin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ivan Ríos skillfully saved the ball. When Cheito Fernández fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carta Vieja F.C.'s protests and gave Cheito Fernández a yellow card for diving instead. 92 minutes into the match, Pinhote FC's Guo Ming sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ivan Ríos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pinhote FC's Guo Ming got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Pinhote FC fully deserved thier win.
