The supporters of Club Almirante Brown booed when Savage Hippo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saulius Pilipavičius didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edwin Grabert took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Isidoro Dolfos. Isidoro Dolfos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Isidoro Dolfos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edwin Grabert in the 8th minute of the match. After 9 minutes, Wilfredo Segio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Almirante Brown and the Savage Hippo players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 9 played minutes Club Almirante Brown got a freekick which was hit by Wilfredo Segio. Edwin Grabert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Club Almirante Brown's Isidoro Dolfos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edwin Grabert in the 10th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Vilmantas Magdišauskas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Guido Bautista came free with the goalkeeper in the 13th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Bengt-Arne Askstedt could save by the left post. In the 20thth minute of the game Edwin Grabert who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Almirante Brown's Isidoro Dolfos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Edwin Grabert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 22 minutes into the match, Club Almirante Brown's goal looked a bit too open when Edwin Grabert came free, but Isidoro Dolfos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 23 played minutes Savage Hippo got a freekick which was hit by Vakaris Daujotas. Justo Paublo kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Eddie Bjurström missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 27 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Isidoro Dolfos right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edwin Grabert in the 33rd minute of play forced Club Almirante Brown's goalkeeper Isidoro Dolfos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute Edwin Grabert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidoro Dolfos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isidoro Dolfos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vilmantas Magdišauskas, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Bengt-Arne Askstedt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilfredo Segio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Savage Hippo's Vilmantas Magdišauskas got a free kick in the 44th minute. Agatas Alkauskas hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edwin Grabert to strike the kick off in the second half. Bengt-Arne Askstedt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guido Bautista in the 51st minute of play. Edwin Grabert came free with the goalkeeper in the 59th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Isidoro Dolfos could save by the left post. Club Almirante Brown's Isidoro Dolfos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Club Almirante Brown from getting a goal against them. Edwin Grabert's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Isidoro Dolfos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Club Almirante Brown made a substitution. Aristides Rayman replaced Wilfredo Segio. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Club Almirante Brown's goalie and right to Orestas Mineikis. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Club Almirante Brown's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Savage Hippo's Saulius Pilipavičius managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Severo Venceslas in the 70 minute of the game. 74 minutes into the match, Savage Hippo's goal looked a bit too open when Guido Bautista came free, but Bengt-Arne Askstedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edwin Grabert might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Isidoro Dolfos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edwin Grabert ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 75th minute Edwin Grabert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidoro Dolfos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edwin Grabert recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 85th minute of the match, Edwin Grabert got a very nice opportunity to score, but Isidoro Dolfos was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With a little luck, Club Almirante Brown's Isidoro Dolfos got control of the ball when Edwin Grabert tried to sneak it across the goal line. Justo Paublo charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Justo Paublo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 88 played minutes Club Almirante Brown got a freekick which was hit by Justo Paublo. After 90 played minutes, Savage Hippo's Eddie Bjurström shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Isidoro Dolfos came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Savage Hippo reached it. Isidoro Dolfos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vilmantas Magdišauskas in the 93rd minute of play. Isidoro Dolfos made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Edwin Grabert sent off a good shot on target. When the final whistle sounded Savage Hippo left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Club Almirante Brown.
