Gunnar Alles's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tadeusz Rutkowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. After 11 minutes, Marek Buczko mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the 2kC Poznań and the FC Rebel players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind 2kC Poznań's goalkeeper Tadeusz Rutkowski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Gunnar Alles sped through 2kC Poznań's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tadeusz Rutkowski. In the 20th minute Tytus Dylla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mehis Johannson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Reino Stroom during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 23rd match minute, FC Rebel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reino Stroom to maneuver through the defense. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tadeusz Rutkowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 32ndth minute of the game Gunnar Alles who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 2kC Poznań's Tadeusz Rutkowski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. FC Rebel's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Aadam Põld in the 33rd minute. Vello Kimmel made a great header on FC Rebel's corner, it was just that 2kC Poznań's Tadeusz Rutkowski managed to reach the ball for a save. A collision led to 2kC Poznań getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Mehis Johannson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Janusz Pusiak in the 55th minute of the match. 55 minutes into the game, Janusz Pusiak cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Mehis Johannson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 2kC Poznań's Zachary Plaski was substituted for Stanislaw Kisielka. 2kC Poznań made a substitution. Through an outstanding action, after 86 minutes, Mehis Johannson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 87th minute Silver Nurk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadeusz Rutkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88th minute FC Rebel were awarded a corner. Aadam Põld went to the cornerflag to take it. August Lass was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Mehis Johannson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Janusz Pusiak, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. 92 minutes into the game, Janusz Pusiak cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Mehis Johannson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The 2kC Poznań supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing 2kC Poznań would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
