Vasco Goycochea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Phillip McKeochan in the 14th minute of the match. In the 16th minute Taco Van Der Hoorn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jesse McJames saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24th minute, Izydor Ogrodowicz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience held their breath when Laerte Tande in the 26th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Vasco Goycochea's left hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Taco Van Der Hoorn in the 28th minute of play forced Smiddy Celts's goalkeeper Jesse McJames to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paddy Thomson kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Smiddy Celts's Vasco Goycochea threw himself towards the right post 36 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Phillip McKeochan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 36th minute Phillip McKeochan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vasco Goycochea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 43 minutes of play, ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ's Taco Van Der Hoorn made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jesse McJames was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 46th minute, Taco Van Der Hoorn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Phillip McKeochan made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Taco Van Der Hoorn in the 58th minute of play forced Smiddy Celts's goalkeeper Jesse McJames to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Graeme Gordon in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vasco Goycochea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Phillip McKeochan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Vasco Goycochea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ's Du Le Jun was substituted for Kauan Mandrak. In the 66th match minute, Smiddy Celts was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wal McVean to maneuver through the defense. Smiddy Celts's Graeme McRobie was substituted for Graeme Gordon. A collision led to Smiddy Celts getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Wal McVean hit a great ball. After 74 minutes Smiddy Celts's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ronaldo Cosme who took care of the corner kick. Jesse McJames took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrique Domingues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 81 minutes, Enrique Domingues managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enrique Domingues was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nikolay Dudevski kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ's attentive Oliverios Gayangos managed to snatch the ball when Atacan Tuncay made a throw-in in the 90th minute of the game. Vasco Goycochea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 雷益铮, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If 雷益铮 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute, 雷益铮 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Smiddy Celts manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ to win.
