After 4 minutes General Velásquez's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cristi Maniu who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Cristi Maniu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Henry Tucknott quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Eusebiu Astafei kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. In the 12thth minute of the game Viktor Axelsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but General Velásquez's Henry Tucknott was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 17th minute Cătălin Agulescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henry Tucknott saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the General Velásquez defense, Cătălin Agulescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Henry Tucknott. The General Velásquez fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Henry Tucknott should have stopped the shot. Henry Tucknott showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viktor Axelsson in the 28th minute of the match. In the 29th minute Jorge Vicente Squella shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Călin Prunaru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Vicente Squella in the 38th minute of play forced FC MCM's goalkeeper Călin Prunaru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jorge Vicente Squella stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Henry Tucknott showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cătălin Agulescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. FC MCM were awarded a corner in the 56th minute after General Velásquez's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cristi Maniu took the corner. In the 57th match minute, General Velásquez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Renato Goycolea to maneuver through the defense. FC MCM made a substitution. Andrei Murărașu replaced Daniel Ciolofan. Renato Goycolea hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Călin Prunaru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Vicente Squella in the 62nd minute of play. Călin Prunaru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clemente Tuñon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 65 minutes FC MCM's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Anselmo Johans who took care of the corner kick. A collision led to General Velásquez getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Gustav Tidéksson hit a great ball. Henry Tucknott made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cătălin Agulescu in the 69th minute of play. Eusebiu Astafei kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. After 78 played minutes FC MCM got a freekick which was hit by Eusebiu Astafei. After 79 minutes, Renato Goycolea made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. FC MCM's Călin Prunaru tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 82nd minute Clemente Tuñon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Călin Prunaru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to General Velásquez getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Renato Goycolea hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vali Cârnu in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Henry Tucknott prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Jorge Vicente Squella came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the General Velásquez fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorge Vicente Squella couldn't finish the play. Gavril Mangra struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Henry Tucknott didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC MCM. Vali Cârnu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 96 minutes into the match, FC MCM's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Vicente Squella came free, but Călin Prunaru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC MCM's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
