Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. In the 10th minute Guntademaro Goyenechea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torsten Björnsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Torsten Björnsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guntademaro Goyenechea in the 14th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Kurt Holmberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Guntademaro Goyenechea might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Torsten Björnsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Guntademaro Goyenechea ran back to his position shaking his head. Richard Pilgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zarpas Jons hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. 33 minutes into the match, Stockholm Generals's Kurt Holmberg broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Torsten Björnsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Guntademaro Goyenechea in the 85th minute of play forced Stockholm Generals's goalkeeper Torsten Björnsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 87 minutes had been played when some careless play by Stockholm Generals's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Anselmo Johans was slow to take the kick. During this time General Velásquez's players had a chance to rest. Sebastian Forsell hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Torsten Björnsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Guntademaro Goyenechea's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. Henry Tucknott showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Milan Pavlovský, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexis Sánchez in the 93rd minute of play forced General Velásquez's goalkeeper Henry Tucknott to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
