The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dario Gaizko during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Leopoldo Lastur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Facundo Torres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, KIRICOCHO FC's Jorge Errando got control of the ball when Wilfredo Quinto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Caner Parshan scored 0-1 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leopoldo Lastur, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of KIRICOCHO FC booed when Leones FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgardo Calvino didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44th minute, Ignacio Cayo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Lázaro Galsino came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the KIRICOCHO FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lázaro Galsino couldn't finish the play. In the 46th minute, Mariano Peyo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Facundo Torres stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. But to his dismay, Caner Parshan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 62 minutes into the match, Leones FC's goalkeeper Leopoldo Lastur had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ernesto Theodore. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Caner Parshan took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Leopoldo Lastur to make any attempt to save it. Leones FC's Leopoldo Lastur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caner Parshan in the 67th minute of play. Facundo Torres had several of the Leones FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 72 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-5 score and a disappointed Leopoldo Lastur as he didn't even see the shot coming. Jorge Errando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Asier in the 76th minute of the match. 84 minutes into the match, Leones FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lázaro Galsino came free, but Leopoldo Lastur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Caner Parshan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Leopoldo Lastur came out and tried to block the shot, but Caner Parshan slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 86th minute. Jorge Errando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicanor Florinio in the 90th minute of play. In the 96th minute, Facundo Torres reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Leopoldo Lastur. The goal made the score 0-8. The Leones FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. KIRICOCHO FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
