FC MCM's Călin Prunaru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tincho Palermo in the 20th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tincho Palermo in the 23rd minute of play forced FC MCM's goalkeeper Călin Prunaru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aaron Molina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Călin Prunaru having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Los Materos FC's goalkeeper Lazaros Kabantais had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Viktor Axelsson. Călin Prunaru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tincho Palermo, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Pau Novo charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pau Novo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 34th match minute, FC MCM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pau Novo to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of FC MCM booed when Los Materos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eleuterio Rufio didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Viktor Axelsson was the one to do the kick off. FC MCM's Andrei Murărașu was substituted for Daniel Ciolofan. Gavril Mangra made in the 62nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Ion Panduru immediately put the ball in play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Larpe got free with Călin Prunaru in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
