In the 19th minute Gaafar Jesus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Søren Malman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Claus Skoubo in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ivan Turina saved Örebro FF from getting behind. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Victory F.C.'s goalkeeper Søren Malman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 25 minutes Victory F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gaafar Jesus who took care of the corner kick. Wes Benbow fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Turina having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rutger Magnusson to strike the kick off in the second half.
