When Elias Cristofol came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Teɱperłey Cɨŧy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elias Cristofol couldn't finish the play. In the 16th minute, one of 卡納里尼奧 FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for 卡納里尼奧 FC. Édouard Mendy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elias Cristofol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Teɱperłey Cɨŧy's Elias Cristofol in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Erhan İren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulysses de Senna in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Teɱperłey Cɨŧy's Gabriel Pacifico was substituted for Raul Rito. Teɱperłey Cɨŧy's John Ryberg was substituted for Gerardo Osorio. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ulysses de Senna to strike the kick off in the second half. Aniceto Campello recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Édouard Mendy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aniceto Campello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 64 minutes of play, Teɱperłey Cɨŧy's Aniceto Campello made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Édouard Mendy was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 68th minute, 卡納里尼奧 FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Aniceto Campello fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The supporters of Teɱperłey Cɨŧy booed when 卡納里尼奧 FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timeteo Pinto didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in 卡納里尼奧 FC's zone, Aniceto Campello stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Édouard Mendy came out of the goal and Aniceto Campello tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 卡納里尼奧 FC's Édouard Mendy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by John Ryberg in the 73rd minute of play. John Ryberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Édouard Mendy made a huge save. John Ryberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Édouard Mendy having to interfere. Édouard Mendy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from John Ryberg in the 81st minute of the match. 83 minutes into the match, 卡納里尼奧 FC's goalkeeper Édouard Mendy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aniceto Campello. Aniceto Campello blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Édouard Mendy having to make a save. With a little luck, 卡納里尼奧 FC's Édouard Mendy got control of the ball when Aniceto Campello tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aniceto Campello could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Édouard Mendy made a huge save. If John Ryberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, 卡納里尼奧 FC's Ulysses de Senna got a free kick in the 95th minute. 96 minutes into the game, Teɱperłey Cɨŧy's Aniceto Campello nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Édouard Mendy made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. Teɱperłey Cɨŧy played a much better game than 卡納里尼奧 FC and deserved their victory. The 卡納里尼奧 FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
