Heino Rolander made a great header on Victory F.C.'s corner, it was just that Grêmio Prudente's Quinto Fonticoba managed to reach the ball for a save. The supporters of Grêmio Prudente booed when Victory F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wes Benbow didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Søren Malman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Edson Ribeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victory F.C. made a substitution. Asmind Wrensted replaced Wes Benbow. Gomesano Gatica fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Søren Malman having to interfere. Victory F.C.'s Ralf Leirup was substituted for Kurd Thiemer. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gomesano Gatica in the 81st minute of play forced Victory F.C.'s goalkeeper Søren Malman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute, Gomesano Gatica ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Søren Malman was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After 90 minutes of play Victory F.C.'s Caspar Alhouch was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 91st minute, Caspar Alhouch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Grêmio Prudente fully deserved thier win.
