EL PEPO FC's Ezequiel Boniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chu Yun Lei in the 7th minute of play. Edgard Herauso charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edgard Herauso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Catadão booed when EL PEPO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgard Herauso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chu Yun Lei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Ezequiel Boniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 13 minutes of play, Catadão's Deivid de Salles made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ezequiel Boniel was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Zafran Chien-Kwan took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Ezequiel Boniel to make any attempt to save it. After some careless play in the EL PEPO FC defense, Zafran Chien-Kwan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ezequiel Boniel. The EL PEPO FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ezequiel Boniel should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Silvério Madureira got free with Ezequiel Boniel in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to EL PEPO FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Celso Inge hit a great ball. After 30 minutes of play, Catadão's Deivid de Salles made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ezequiel Boniel was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Catadão's Silvério Madureira got a free kick in the 35th minute. Deivid de Salles received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ezequiel Boniel came out and tried to block the shot, but Deivid de Salles slotted it home off the left post making it 6-0 in the 37th minute. The supporters of Catadão booed when EL PEPO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celso Inge didn't get a good kick on the ball. 48 minutes into the match, Catadão's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardo Salvino came free, but Jardel Reis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

Ezequiel Boniel came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Catadão's Chu Yun Lei. But to his dismay, Chu Yun Lei quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. After some careless play in the EL PEPO FC defense, Chu Yun Lei kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ezequiel Boniel. The EL PEPO FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ezequiel Boniel should have stopped the shot. EL PEPO FC made a substitution. Tomás Satordi replaced Gaspar Fernendo. Deivid de Salles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ezequiel Boniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Deivid de Salles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kléberson Xavier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ezequiel Boniel having to interfere. Pascual Rey's late challenge caught a Catadão's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pascual Rey helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Catadão booed when EL PEPO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pascual Rey didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jeremias Andrade recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ezequiel Boniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremias Andrade in the 84th minute of play. After some careless play in the EL PEPO FC defense, Jeremias Andrade kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ezequiel Boniel. The EL PEPO FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ezequiel Boniel should have stopped the shot.
