After having played for 3 minutes, Frank Mees managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Henter Somosd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Mees was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Waud De Geyter made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Frank Mees sent off a good shot on target. FC Henter Somosd's Gábor Király played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damazy Radzyminski in the 7th minute of play. Gábor Király made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damazy Radzyminski in the 10th minute of play. Frank Mees received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Waud De Geyter came out and tried to block the shot, but Frank Mees slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 13th minute. Waud De Geyter made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frank Mees in the 16th minute. Frank Mees could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Waud De Geyter made a huge save. FC Henter Somosd were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after Silver Squad AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Arnd Schade took the corner. Waud De Geyter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Mees, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Mees got free with Waud De Geyter in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Waud De Geyter was out of position in the 28 minute of play, and Frank Mees capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Frank Mees really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Gábor Király made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damazy Radzyminski in the 32nd minute of play. Gábor Király came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Silver Squad AFC's Frans Van Caubergen. But to his dismay, Frans Van Caubergen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Silver Squad AFC's goalkeeper Waud De Geyter, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gábor Király made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damazy Radzyminski in the 43rd minute of play. FC Henter Somosd's Gábor Király played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damazy Radzyminski in the 48th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benjamin Carberry stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gerardo McMillan kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. After 63 played minutes, Silver Squad AFC's Henrik Ooms shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gábor Király came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Silver Squad AFC reached it. Silver Squad AFC's Waud De Geyter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Mees in the 66th minute of play. In the 85th minute, Henrik Ooms got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. FC Henter Somosd's Gábor Király proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save FC Henter Somosd from getting a goal against them. In the 88th minute, Loid De Keuster reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gábor Király. The goal made the score 3-2. Frank Mees received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Waud De Geyter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ulises Ugaitz struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Waud De Geyter didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Henter Somosd. FC Henter Somosd were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Silver Squad AFC for a fine match.
