Berni y Benja FC's Amancio Videl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrew Dalli in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th match minute, Berni y Benja FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgardo Arce to maneuver through the defense. 21 minutes into the match, Berni y Benja FC's goal looked a bit too open when Andrew Dalli came free, but Amancio Videl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amancio Videl made an important save on a dangerous shot by David Banegas in the 35th minute. 38 minutes into the match, Berni y Benja FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eloy Calvino came free, but Amancio Videl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Berni y Benja FC's goalkeeper Amancio Videl had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Devidatta Vendetta. Roman Hibai's late challenge caught a Esmeralda AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roman Hibai helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Berni y Benja FC's Roman Hibai got a free kick in the 44th minute. In the 47th minute Andrew Dalli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amancio Videl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

In the 51st match minute, Esmeralda AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kong Kun Xu to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 55 minutes, Jorge Armani successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Andrew Dalli blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Amancio Videl having to make a save.
