Zézinho Paulista charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zézinho Paulista the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 6 played minutes Cx AY YILDIZ T.I.M. Cx got a freekick which was hit by Zézinho Paulista. 10 minutes into the match, Club Deportes Santa Cruz's goal looked a bit too open when Krzysztof Sanocki came free, but Ilkka Markkula reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Colombain Parham managed to avoid a goal in the 11thth minute, when Club Deportes Santa Cruz's Podador Raheiro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Cx AY YILDIZ T.I.M. Cx's Colombain Parham proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Cx AY YILDIZ T.I.M. Cx from getting a goal against them. 17 minutes into the game, Krzysztof Sanocki cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ilkka Markkula was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 19th match minute, Cx AY YILDIZ T.I.M. Cx was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sylvain Ransom to maneuver through the defense. Podador Raheiro's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 21stth minute, Colombain Parham skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sylvain Ransom in the 22nd minute of play forced Club Deportes Santa Cruz's goalkeeper Ilkka Markkula to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Club Deportes Santa Cruz's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Antonio Gorri in the 26th minute. A nice corner shot did that Shi Yuan got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Colombain Parham quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Podador Raheiro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 28thth minute tested the skills of Colombain Parham when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ilkka Markkula made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gencal Sayıl in the 29th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Podador Raheiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Deportes Santa Cruz fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Colombain Parham showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hüseyin Rahmi Toper in the 37th minute of the match. Colombain Parham took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Podador Raheiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Podador Raheiros short, quick shot in the 45thth minute got Colombain Parham to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Podador Raheiro made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Cx AY YILDIZ T.I.M. Cx's goal looked a bit too open when Marcus Edström came free, but Colombain Parham reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner ended in Jaume Berecedo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Cx AY YILDIZ T.I.M. Cx's Colombain Parham did a great save. When Club Deportes Santa Cruz's Podador Raheiro in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cx AY YILDIZ T.I.M. Cx's goalie prevented a goal. After 56 played minutes Cx AY YILDIZ T.I.M. Cx got a freekick which was hit by Zézinho Paulista. Yan Zhi Chuan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 59 minutes into the match, Cx AY YILDIZ T.I.M. Cx's goal looked a bit too open when Yan Zhi Chuan came free, but Colombain Parham reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Yan Zhi Chuan came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Club Deportes Santa Cruz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yan Zhi Chuan couldn't finish the play. Ilkka Markkula showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sylvain Ransom in the 64th minute of the match. Ilkka Markkula made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sylvain Ransom in the 66th minute. Hüseyin Rahmi Toper kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Yan Zhi Chuan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Colombain Parham was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. With a little luck, Club Deportes Santa Cruz's Ilkka Markkula got control of the ball when Sylvain Ransom tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Cx AY YILDIZ T.I.M. Cx defense, Yan Zhi Chuan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Colombain Parham. The Cx AY YILDIZ T.I.M. Cx fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Colombain Parham should have stopped the shot. After 85 minutes, Yan Zhi Chuan made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Cx AY YILDIZ T.I.M. Cx's Colombain Parham tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Cx AY YILDIZ T.I.M. Cx's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
