Jacinto Torres might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paulo Teles. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jacinto Torres ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Haithabu FC booed when B.Z. F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Vides didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Jacinto Torres took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Paulo Teles to make any attempt to save it. 21 minutes into the match, Haithabu FC's goal looked a bit too open when José Guilherme came free, but Fabian Söderström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gervasio Albonico's late challenge caught a B.Z. F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gervasio Albonico helped the player get up and apologised. Gervasio Albonico kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Augusto Belém hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 30 minutes, Jacinto Torres managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Haithabu FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacinto Torres was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Jacinto Torres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fabian Söderström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Guilherme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jacinto Torres blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paulo Teles having to make a save. If Jacinto Torres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice moves Jacinto Torres could shoot a difficult shot in the 40th minute, which Paulo Teles however easily saved by the left post. Jacinto Torres blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paulo Teles having to make a save. Caetano Cardoso kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Paulo Teles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacinto Torres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Estevão Ponte stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of B.Z. F.C. booed when Haithabu FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Blomquist didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Jacinto Torres put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Paulo Teles. A collision led to B.Z. F.C. getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. José Vides hit a great ball. Paulo Teles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacinto Torres in the 66th minute of the match. Paulo Teles didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gervasio Albonico went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Jacinto Torres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Haithabu FC's Fabian Söderström got control of the ball when José Guilherme tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Haithabu FC's Marc Van Beets got a free kick in the 73rd minute. The supporters of Haithabu FC booed when B.Z. F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romeu Monteiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Haithabu FC's Mauri Icardi was substituted for Jacinto Torres. In the 77th minute, Romeu Monteiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 78th minute Mauri Icardi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Teles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mauri Icardi might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paulo Teles. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mauri Icardi ran back to his position shaking his head. Paulo Teles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauri Icardi in the 80th minute of play. In the 81st match minute, B.Z. F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elias Teves to maneuver through the defense. In the 82nd minute, Mauri Icardi made a precise shot to the right of Paulo Teles. B.Z. F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Romeu Monteiro hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in B.Z. F.C.'s zone, Mauri Icardi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulo Teles came out of the goal and Mauri Icardi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Haithabu FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while B.Z. F.C. had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
