In the 23rdth minute of the game Damaso Sancho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lunatico F.C's Santiago Gaizko was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 30 minutes into the game, when Anastasio Fliz put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Lunatico F.C fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 29th minute. Penalty! Máté Márton made an important save on a dangerous shot by Moises Cilio in the 36th minute. In the 41st minute, Kaj-Åke Kaká got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Rosendo Sanson fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lunatico F.C's protests and gave Rosendo Sanson a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Lunatico F.C getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Rosendo Sanson hit a great ball. In the 44th minute, Damaso Sancho made a precise shot to the right of Santiago Gaizko. Lunatico F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 46 minutes into the game, Wu Hong Ning was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Damaso Sancho made a kick off. In the 57th minute, Moises Cilio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnaldo Oidor in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Santiago Gaizko saved Lunatico F.C from getting behind. In the 61st minute Congo Bongo were awarded a corner. Froilan Iaki went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Kaj-Åke Kaká heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The supporters of Lunatico F.C booed when Congo Bongo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kaj-Åke Kaká didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Lunatico F.C's Anacleto Eufrasio got a free kick in the 64th minute. Arnaldo Oidor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santiago Gaizko having to interfere. Lunatico F.C made a substitution. Jouke Krol replaced Moises Cilio. Lunatico F.C's Anıl Timurtas was substituted for Oscar Playo. Santiago Gaizko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnaldo Oidor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jouke Krol struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Máté Márton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lunatico F.C. 88 minutes into the match, Congo Bongo's goal looked a bit too open when Jouke Krol came free, but Máté Márton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
