Valério Vides could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Santiago Gaizko made a huge save. Moises Cilio might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paulo Teles. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Joël Devidal got free with Paulo Teles in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lunatico F.C's Santiago Gaizko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Guilherme in the 77th minute of play. Santiago Gaizko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Guilherme, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jouke Krol in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulo Teles saved B.Z. F.C. from getting behind. When the match clock showed 85 minutes, the score became 1-4 when Jouke Krol sped through B.Z. F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Paulo Teles.
