Antonio Perrando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Máximo Laureano having to interfere. After some careless play in the Newpi Academy defense, Gentil Setúbal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Richard Textex. The Newpi Academy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Richard Textex should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gentil Setúbal in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Richard Textex prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After taking down the ball on Terceirense F.C.'s corner Aleksander Kapera fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Richard Textex quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gentil Setúbal in the 24th minute of play forced Newpi Academy's goalkeeper Richard Textex to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Terceirense F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Antonio Perrando came free, but Máximo Laureano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 许林悦 hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Gentil Setúbal ran back to his position shaking his head. 38 minutes into the match, Newpi Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Gentil Setúbal came free, but Richard Textex reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Richard Textex showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gentil Setúbal in the 43rd minute of the match. 47 minutes into the game, Salvador Ermengol was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Newpi Academy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Terceirense F.C. the free kick. Salvador Ermengol kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. When Gentil Setúbal came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Terceirense F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gentil Setúbal couldn't finish the play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gentil Setúbal to make the kick off. Richard Textex showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gentil Setúbal in the 54th minute of the match. Newpi Academy's Richard Textex played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gentil Setúbal in the 64th minute of play. The supporters of Terceirense F.C. booed when Newpi Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salvador Ermengol didn't get a good kick on the ball. Terceirense F.C.'s Donovan Daval was substituted for Gentil Setúbal. Hermano Campelo hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donovan Daval in the 82nd minute of play forced Newpi Academy's goalkeeper Richard Textex to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antonio Perrando could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Máximo Laureano made a huge save. If Donovan Daval had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
