The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 22nd minute of the game. One of Oranil:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Spadarolo:s goal. Juan Velloso went to the wrong direction when Conrad Wy was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. If Daniele Terrasi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 28 played minutes Oranil got a freekick which was hit by Nilson Leão. If Antonello Bucci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Antonello Bucci blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Juan Velloso having to make a save. Antonello Bucci was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 38th minute. Spadarolo's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 40th minute, Casimiro Illanes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 43 minutes, Antonello Bucci managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Spadarolo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antonello Bucci was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 45 minutes into the match, Oranil's goal looked a bit too open when Antonello Bucci came free, but Juan Velloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 46 minutes into the match, Spadarolo's goal looked a bit too open when Edmílson Catarinense came free, but Téo Soares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edmílson Catarinense to make the kick off. In the 66th minute, Conrad Wy ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Juan Velloso was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. The Spadarolo fans' excitement grew in the 70th match minute when Spadarolo's Antonello Bucci looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Spadarolo's Arturo Bani was substituted for Corrado Maio. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonello Bucci in the 74th minute of play forced Oranil's goalkeeper Juan Velloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Spadarolo getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Conrad Wy hit a great ball. In the 83rd match minute, Oranil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nilson Leão to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 84 minutes, Antonello Bucci managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After 95 minutes, Antonello Bucci made it 9-0 with a short kick to the right side. Oranil's Juan Velloso tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
