In the 7th minute Fc Meremõisa were awarded a corner. Siim Noorsaar went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Siim Noorsaar got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Cornelio Merexildo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Cornelio Merexildo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eiko Kivik in the 10th minute. When Lorenzo Lluterio came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Defensores del Albinegro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lorenzo Lluterio couldn't finish the play. Defensores del Albinegro's Cornelio Merexildo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norberto Cenzano in the 16th minute of play. Cornelio Merexildo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eiko Kivik's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Eiko Kivik had several of the Defensores del Albinegro's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 22 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Cornelio Merexildo as he didn't even see the shot coming. An unexpectedly hard shot by Li Sha Yuan in the 26th minute of play forced Fc Meremõisa's goalkeeper Roland Vaht to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cornelio Merexildo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eiko Kivik's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Talip Öztaş fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cornelio Merexildo having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eiko Kivik made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Defensores del Albinegro's Walter Muro got a free kick in the 50th minute. Roland Vaht showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Li Sha Yuan in the 54th minute of the match. Cornelio Merexildo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norberto Cenzano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
