Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Meriç Özsen to make the kick off. Cláudio Taffarel came out of the goal and Saturnino Diagur tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ildefonso Balesio hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Friedrich Nietzsche could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Cornelio Merexildo made a huge save. Maximo Aritza struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. This resulted in a 0-2 score and a disappointed Cornelio Merexildo as he didn't even see the shot coming. AKÇEŞMESPOR were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
